20’ Steel Shipping Container Office

Next major decision- studs, insulation & drywall or no?
Cost for all three $3000. If you want A/C, Drywall and insulation are recommended.
BUT – we make low cost offices using a spray on interior insulation and no drywall with A/C! Cost to do this on a 20’ office is $400 for that spray on interior insulation. The A/C will work harder, but cost out the gate is thousands less, and we have hundreds of offices in the field now with no complaints.
Laminate flooring or just use the container floor sealed and painted, which is made of 1 1/8” thick mahogany marine plywood trimmed in steel. Cost of laminate flooring- call. Sealed and painted floor looks and works exceptionally well with shipping containers, and the cost is minimal. We can install any floor you want, just ask- 808-339-5639.
Windows and doors? 6 x 3 looks best on 20’ offices $700. ea installed-- 4 x 3 -- $600.
6’ steel roll-up $850. 36” steel personnel door -- $850.
Window security screen and bars – call We can install sliding glass doors, french doors etc. Call.
Need a dividing wall for bathroom or private office? $900. -- 8’ wide wall (width of container) which is dry walled on both sides, textured and painted. Add a door for $400 more, (total of $1300.)
Electrical & A/C $2300 gets you a breaker panel, 4 electrical outlets and 2 overhead fluorescent lights. If you opt for drywall, the wiring is hidden behind the drywall. If not, we install metal conduit that is visible. We can do custom configurations and install custom lighting or whatever you want.
8000 btu a/c $695. 12,000 btu $900. Custom split systems available, call.
Silicone elastomeric coating to reflect sun and heat? It also ends rust problems on the roof. Recommended if your office is in the direct sun, not needed if protected from the sun. This coating, combined with our insulation and drywall pkg gives you much lower electricity costs.
T1-11 or OSB smart panel siding, plantation style metal roof structures and other options are available now, call us for a custom quote.
